Dont worry Jess! I bet your time in Cali will just fly by! You wont have time to miss anything! Oh no, I already miss Jared! Oh well, We'll be okay!!!
oh my sweet friend! we have been blessed havent we? and you are going to be blessed tenfold for being obediant this summer! the Lord is going to use you to do things that we dont even really understand right now :) i am going to be waiting anxiously to hear of all the great things the Lord has done! someone gave this scripture to me today and it blessed my life, i hope it encourages, motivates, and brings up a passion inside of you that you never knew existed! col. 4:2-6 ¨Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.¨you make the Lord smile sweet jess :)
oh, i'm so jealous of you! i spent three of the most incredible summers of my life doing summer missions. however, i must admit that the great louisiana baptist convention never saw fit to send me to such exotic locales as california! louisiana, canada, and kentucky don't exactly compare geographically! ;)i will check your blog often for updates on how you are faring, and i will most definitely add you to my prayer list.have an incredible summer...God literally changed my life and gave me a deeper understanding of His global heart through summer missions. you will miss all of the special people and places, but you will also learn a dependence on Him like you have ever known. may you be the sweet aroma of Christ to everyone you come in contact with.from a blog lurker, former babysitter, and first "jessica lee",jessica bufkinp.s. great minds must think alike...this was my first blogspot background, too! abbeylush.blogspot.com

I'm going to miss you Jess! God is going to bless you beyond what you can comprehend! My one week in Honduras was such a blessing and you just can't explain to people the way that serving the Lord makes you feel! There will be things everyday that break your heart and things that make you smile! Make the most of every opportunity! God doesn't make mistakes! He's got the right girl for the job! I love you!
i'm so excited that you are going to big California. It will be an awesome summer. I remember when Christina Heather told me that you were not going to do GA camp and that you were looking at summer missions. I was excited for you. I know you will do great there. Just as Mary (the mother of Jesus) pondered all things in her heart, I hope you take time to process and consider what God is doing in your life throughout the summer. We'll miss you around here but looking forward to what God will do.
Dear Jess, We canned corn today at Momma D's and Daddy Ray's. We missed you muchly, but your cousins (and baby brother) took up the slack. (I got to cut off corn by my baby brother.) I'm excited about your wonderful opportunity 'on the coast of Cali' this Summer. You missed one of the rites of summer passage in Wisner, but you got a glorious view of the wonders of God's creation by the coast. Your fun Aunt loves you and I will pray for you and read your blog to keep up with the BCM Gal on the coast. Love, Aunt June
